Full Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Project Management
  • Work closely with account management team to dissect incoming client requests and determine project feasibility
  • Identify potential logistical or vehicle procurement issues and provide alternative options/solutions
  • Use historical and newly collected data to create budgets for various types of projects (i.e. focus groups, press events, engineering evaluations, etc.)
  • Negotiate pricing with vehicle suppliers and transportation companies based on project conditions and timeline
  • Research vehicle makes/models/trims and associated features to help ensure all elements of clients' requests are satisfied
  • Employ rule of submitting research and budget information to account management team within 48 hours
  • Manage schedule, milestones, partners and suppliers so that vehicles are delivered successfully to appropriate individuals or departments in a timely manner
  • Foster open communication with suppliers through project duration
  • Study vehicle depreciation trends and forecast resale values based on holding period and usage
  • Make vigorous effort to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly profit goals
  • Dealership and Automotive Experience not mandatory but a plus
  • Some travel is required

Relationship Building and Network Expansion
  • Ensure supplier and partner relationships are well maintained and in good standing by keeping in touch via telephone, email and personal visits on regular basis
  • Expand vehicle supply and transportation networks by regularly performing introductory calls and emails
  • Participate in "Marketing Mondays" by scheduling check-in meetings with suppliers to develop and strengthen relationships

Administrative Duties
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pricing and notes in Salesforce
  • For all projects, collect vehicle invoices, condition reports and odometer readings for mileage analytics
  • Ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner
  • Accurately audit projects monthly and make effort to close jobs within one week of conclusion
  • Attend regularly scheduled team meetings prepared with updates and relevant notes
  • Organize and maintain relevant project files such as receipts, quotes, invoices and other associated documents

Industry Knowledge
  • Remain current with industry "happenings" and be prepared to discuss new trends and ideas with the team
  • Educate yourself by reading automotive journals, publications, blogs, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

As the Production department stands at the core of our vehicle supply and transportation business, the ideal candidate for the Production Manager role is expected to be highly detail oriented and passionate about organization and efficiency. A general interest in the automotive and event management industries is preferred. Our staff regularly communicates with automotive, engineering and agency leaders, so the right person for this job will possess strong, clear communication skills and the proven ability to communicate effectively with professionals of all levels.

COMPENSATION
  • $72k - $99k
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, and education when applicable.
