Mission: Deliver production execution to the best industry practices - safety, quality, on-time delivery and productivity - with continuous improvement at the center of operations, and provide high-level daily operational oversight across production.
Key responsibilities - Provide high-level daily oversight of production operations, functionally partnering with the supervisors, and ensure a safe and engaging work environment.
- Be accountable for the daily operational cadence: production dashboards and KPIs across all shifts.
- Embed continuous improvement day to day (Lean, 5S, problem solving) and deliver its results.
- Meet or exceed safety, quality, on-time delivery and productivity targets.
- Act as a lead partner with Planning in executing the production schedule: escalate capacity gaps and ensure corrective action plans are implemented and tracked.
Qualifications Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field, or equivalent, with at least five (5) years of manufacturing production experience, including team supervision. Semiconductor experience and continuous-improvement training are strong assets.
- Shop-floor leadership and team development.
- Command of continuous-improvement methods (Lean, 5S, problem solving).
- Comfort with production KPIs and ERP systems (SAP).
- Bilingual French / English (oral and written) in order to be able to communicate with other Excelitas sites outside Quebec.
