As a CBRE Product Senior Analyst, you will own analytical workstreams end-to-end, partner closely with a scrum team to build real products, and sit at the intersection of data strategy, technology, and the business. You will be close to the data and users, shaping what gets built and why. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, serving as the primary bridge between business strategy and engineering execution. By partnering with design and development teams, you will translate complex practitioner needs into scalable, high-impact technical solutions while ensuring both rigor and velocity in delivery. You will define the methodology, interrogate data to identify operational opportunities, and maintain full accountability for outcomes, representing the product vision to stakeholders across both business and D&T leadership.
This job is part of the Product Management job function. They are responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of products and product extensions during all life cycle stages.
What You'll Do:- Run discovery and requirements gathering, interview stakeholders, map current workflows, separate what users need from what they asked for, and document business rules and metric definitions.
- Distill ambiguous requests from Advisory and D&T leaders into defined problems, prioritized requirements, and a clear plan.
- Explore data directly in SQL to understand what exists, check whether a request is feasible, and sanity-check numbers before and after they are built.
- Design a methodology for open-ended business questions, run an initial analysis, and present the findings with a clear point of view.
- Hand off well-specified work to analysts and engineers, including mockups, metric logic, data sources, and acceptance criteria, and stay close enough to answer questions and unblock them.
- Partner with the product lead and scrum team: write user stories, help prioritize the backlog, and take part in refinement, sprint planning, and demos.
- Lead user testing and rollout, gather feedback, and use it to shape the next iteration.
- Manage stakeholders across Advisory and D&T at all levels: set expectations, push back when priorities conflict, and keep leaders informed with short, regular updates that connect sprint work to monthly and quarterly goals.
- Spot risks, data anomalies, and blockers early, and raise issues with a recommendation, not just a problem.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Strategy, Business Analytics, or a related field with experience owning a client or stakeholder workstream. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- A track record of gathering requirements and turning them into deliverables other people built and of delivering analyses that influenced decisions.
- Working SQL to explore, join, and validate data yourself, enough data sense to spot when a number looks wrong, and familiarity with a dashboarding tool, such as Power BI, to mock up and review dashboards.
- Experience in data management and data governance, with an understanding of how data interacts with products.
- Experience working in agile or scrum teams, with fluency in the ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
- Clear written and verbal communication across levels, from a detailed data review with an analyst to a working session or status update with senior leaders.
- Comfort starting without a clear brief: you ask the right questions, form a point of view, and get moving.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Experience working with engineers or developers on offshore or distributed teams preferred.
- Familiarity with Snowflake and dbt preferred.
- Python or R for ad hoc analysis preferred.
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
