Full Job Description
Position Summary:

Rhapsody's value to customers increases with our ability to seamlessly plug into the platforms that enable healthcare, such as the major EHRs and the other health tech platforms that sit alongside them. This role owns those relationships day to day.

This is a partnerships and product enablement role, not a sales role. You will manage Rhapsody's working relationships with key EHR vendor partners (Epic, Oracle Health, MEDITECH, athenahealth, Greenway, eClinicalWorks) and other health tech partners, and turn those relationships into two things: differentiated product capabilities and an enabled commercial team that knows how to sell them. You will sit close to both Product and Go-to-Market, translating what's happening on the partner side into work each team can act on.

We are looking for a generalist who can work at multiple levels of driving product partnership value. The right person is curious and has real hunger to own something end to end. A background at an EHR vendor is a strong plus, as is time spent in a partnerships, implementation, or customer-facing relationship role. What matters most is judgment, follow-through, and the ability to build trust with people inside and outside Rhapsody.

At Rhapsody, we are an AI-first company, meaning we actively use and embrace artificial intelligence to enhance how we work, collaborate, and deliver. We expect our team members to be open to adopting AI tools in their roles, continuously exploring ways to work smarter, improve efficiency, and drive innovation while maintaining high standards of quality, security, and ethical responsibility.

What you will do

Own the partner relationships
  • Serve as Rhapsody's day-to-day point of contact for key EHR vendor partners and other HIT partners.
  • Build trusted working relationships with partner counterparts across product, partnerships, and field sales teams.
  • Maintain a joint account plan and engagement cadence for each strategic partner, and manage joint programs from kickoff to delivery, tracking milestones and removing blockers on both sides.

Enable differentiated product capabilities
  • Work with Rhapsody Product to identify where partner platform capabilities and Rhapsody Axon can combine into valuable unique offerings.
  • Own joint technical workstreams with partners: certifications, integration testing, roadmap alignment, and co-development milestones.
  • Bring partner roadmap changes and platform requirements back to Rhapsody Product as clear, prioritized input.

Enable the commercial team
  • Equip sales and solutions engineering with partner positioning, battlecards, and joint value propositions.
  • Support field-level motions, including marketplace listing enablement for Rhapsody Axon and the AI partnerships it enables, plus referral pipelines.
  • Support the solution consulting, sales, and marketing teams across the board, cross-functionally, to ensure partner needs are met.
  • Coordinate with partner marketing teams on co-marketing moments (joint content, webinars, conference presence).

Run the joint workstreams
  • Represent Rhapsody at partner-hosted events and conferences (for example, Epic UGM, HIMSS).
  • Report out on partnership health, joint pipeline, and program status to Rhapsody leadership.
  • Manage joint programs with partners from kickoff to delivery: set milestones, track status, and remove blockers on both sides.

AI
  • Embeds AI into repeatable, systemized workflows (e.g., reporting, analysis, planning), using it by default to improve efficiency, consistency, and decision-making.
  • Develops reusable prompts, templates, and simple automations that combine AI with internal data to drive ongoing productivity gains across multiple workstreams.

What you will bring
  • Experience in partnerships, alliances, implementation, or another relationship-facing role is a plus.
  • A generalist skill set: comfortable moving between relationship management, light technical work, and commercial enablement in the same week.
  • Strong ownership instinct .You'd rather plan and run a workstream yourself than wait to be told the next step, and you're comfortable that partnerships work rarely comes with a template.
  • A collaborative mindset: a partnership is really just vaporware if it has no commitment from product/R&D or no alignment with sales/support.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. Partnerships work rarely comes with a template.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. You can hold your own in a room with partner executives and also write a clear internal brief.
  • Preferably located in the Boston area, or willing to travel to Boston periodically. Additional travel to partner sites and industry events also expected.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Strong plus if you have
  • Prior experience at an EHR vendor (Epic, Oracle Health, MEDITECH, athenahealth, or similar).
  • Experience in a partnerships, alliances, implementation, or customer-facing relationship role at a health tech or infrastructure company.
  • Working familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to how AI or agentic products get built and sold.

Why this role

You will own real relationships with the biggest platforms in healthcare from day one, and you will see the direct line between a partner conversation you have this month and a capability or deal that ships next quarter. It is a broad seat for someone who wants to learn fast across product, commercial, and partnerships, with a clear path to grow into a bigger partnerships or product leadership role as Rhapsody's AI and interoperability platform scales globally.

The expected pay range for this position is $106,000 - $150,000 USD annually, representing the anticipated base salary range for a full-time, exempt hire. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and work location. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, as well as participation in Rhapsody's comprehensive benefits program, which includes health coverage, retirement savings, paid time off and other programs that support your overall well-being.

What we have to offer you:
  • Comprehensive benefits package on day 1 (medical, dental, vision, life, disability)
  • 401k with a generous company match
  • Unlimited PTO, sick time & volunteer days
  • An innovative, inclusive, and fun work environment
  • Continuous learning and development opportunities
