• Run product discovery with investment and operating stakeholders to identify automation, data, and analytics opportunities across the trade lifecycle.
• Lead prioritization across competing demands, balancing time-sensitive trading needs with longer-term platform investments.
• Coordinate with internal platform teams (data platform, AI, infrastructure) and external vendors on integrations, shared services, and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Define and track KPIs for adoption, performance, and business impact; communicate progress and trade-offs to senior BXMA and BXTI leadership.
• Promote and cultivate a culture of product thinking, data, and AI within the BXMA technology organization, including leading working sessions for both technology and business teams.
• Lead multiple concurrent initiatives and collaborate effectively with other BXTI product, engineering, and design teams.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of product management experience, with significant time spent building technology for trading, capital markets, or alternative investments.
• Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle, OMS/EMS, market data, and post-trade workflows across asset classes (e.g., equities, credit, derivatives).
• Demonstrated track record shipping institutional-grade investment or trading technology in close partnership with engineering teams.
• Strong analytical skills, including comfort with SQL and modern data tools to validate hypotheses, measure outcomes, and ground product decisions.
• Experience working within a technology team for a financial services firm, with a preference for alternative asset management, hedge funds, or sell-side trading.
• Proficiency operating within a modern software development lifecycle, including agile delivery, change control, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the competence to communicate with business and technical coworkers and to author documentation appropriate for the user community, development teams, and senior management.
• Experience defining project scope and to manage and communicate scope changes.
