Full Job Description
The Product Manager will oversee the application lifecycle, including production support, enhancements, vendor coordination, implementations, upgrades, testing, documentation, and user training. The role will also support technology initiatives across a growing distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Management System Ownership

  • Serve as the primary business owner for warehouse management applications.
  • Partner with warehouse operations, business users, IT, and third-party technology providers.
  • Ensure system availability, stability, and operational performance across warehouse locations.
  • Manage incidents, enhancements, testing, deployments, and production support.
  • Maintain application documentation, business processes, and system standards.
Business Partnership

  • Build strong relationships with distribution, transportation, customer service, and IT teams.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for external development teams.
  • Identify system improvements that increase operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Support process improvement initiatives across receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, cycle counting, and returns.
Production Support & Escalation

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex production issues.
  • Coordinate root cause analysis and resolution of application incidents.
  • Prioritize issues based on business impact.
  • Coordinate communication between internal stakeholders and third-party support teams during critical incidents.
  • Track application defects and operational issues through resolution.
Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with external WMS support and development partners.
  • Monitor service quality, response times, SLAs, and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate enhancement requests, fixes, testing, and production deployments.
  • Review and validate proposed technical solutions.
  • Hold vendors accountable for quality, timelines, documentation, and operational performance.
Project Leadership

  • Lead WMS-related upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate UAT, regression testing, and production readiness activities.
  • Develop implementation plans and coordinate cross-functional project activities.
  • Support successful deployments while minimizing operational disruption.
  • Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Documentation & Training

  • Develop and maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
  • Create user guides and support materials.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to warehouse and support personnel.
  • Promote best practices for system utilization and warehouse operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting WMS, WES, warehouse automation/robotics, API integrations, and/or conveyor systems.
  • Experience as a Product Manager, Application Manager, Business Systems Manager, or in a similar technology-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, business requirements, and technology-driven process improvement.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product/project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with warehouse management, warehouse execution, labeling automation, warehouse analytics/KPI platforms, or robotic warehouse technologies.
  • Experience working with third-party WMS/WES vendors and development partners.
  • Exposure to AI, automation, analytics, or data-driven products.
  • Knowledge of applicable industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Compensation: $135,000 to $150,000 annually
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
