Full Job Description
As the Product Manager, you will drive the technical development and execution of dynamic product portfolios from initial conception all the way to global distribution! You will serve as the central hub for our cross-functional teams, assessing the viability of new products while ensuring they meet strict quality standards, tight deadlines, and target budgets. By seamlessly navigating complex development cycles and anticipating industry trends, you will ensure our end products captivate consumers and align with our strategic business goals.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the end-to-end technical development and execution of assigned product portfolios from initial concept through to mass production and shipping
  • Establish, monitor, and update comprehensive project plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams to determine tasks, milestones, resources, and final ship dates
  • Partner with global operations and Asia product managers to streamline communication, onboard new factories, and proactively resolve development issues
  • Identify and anticipate potential risks prior to each development milestone while escalating red flags to management with defined resolution plans
  • Use advanced verification techniques to manage changes in project scope and schedule while finding creative ways to expedite critical approvals
  • Ensure the item master is consistently accurate and updated with critical factory information, product dimensions, and UPC codes
  • Maintain all key product development and project management documents daily while preparing detailed weekly status reports for leadership
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by defining and streamlining distribution processes to hit tight timeframes

What We Are Looking For:
  • 5+ years of relevant project management or product development experience within the consumer goods industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing long and short-term projects while adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite with effective planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers and build productive cross-functional relationships
  • High attention to detail with the capacity to define problems, collect data, determine root causes, and drive team-based resolutions
  • A self-motivated, collaborative, and growth-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently

Nice To Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a highly related field is a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with plastics, materials, and global manufacturing processes
  • Prior experience in the toy, baby, costume, or pets industry

The base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.
