The Product Manager, Terminals position manages the product lifecycle for terminal hardware and software products used in wagering operations. This role drives product strategy, feature development, and deployment for self-service and point-of-sale terminal platforms, collaborating with engineering, operations, and field services teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Manages the terminal product roadmap and release planning
- Defines and owns hardware and software requirements for terminal/kiosk platforms
- Partners with third parties to ensure hardware meets regulatory and safety standards
- Collaborates with Industrial/Mechanical Design, Supply Chain, Firmware Engineering, Software, Legal and Go-to-Market teams
- Oversees terminal deployment, updates, and field support coordination
- Conducts site visits to evaluate terminal performance and customer needs
- Monitors terminal performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborates with field services on terminal maintenance and support processes
- Prepares and delivers product presentations and status reports to stakeholders
- Coordinates with engineering on terminal platform innovation and modernization
- Performs other duties as needed to support team and organizational objectives
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:- 5+ years of product management experience
- Understanding of retail/point-of-sale technology ecosystems and manufacturing processes
- Strong industrial/mechanical design process knowledge
- Solid knowledge of Agile development methodology
- Proficiency in delivering clear product presentations and technical documentation
- Strong MS Office suite skills
- Highly organized
- Self-motivated, hardworking, flexible
- Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Preferred Experience and/or Education: Wagering/gaming industry experience; Knowledge of horse racing, pari-mutuel wagering, gaming, sports wagering and/or social marketplace industries; Working in a scaled agile environment; Terminal, hardware, or POS technology experience
OTHER INFORMATION:- This position does have direct supervisory/management responsibilities/duties
- Requires travel up to 20% including travel outside of local area and can include overnight stay. International travel possible.
- The successful candidate's starting compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications and market conditions.
- This role is eligible to participate in the Company's discretionary bonus program where the bonus amount is at the discretion of Executive Leadership and based on business and individual performance.
