Key responsibilities
Own the product strategy and roadmap for buyer-facing discovery and transaction surfaces, and keep it aligned to business priorities.
Turn customer and business problems into clear written product definition: one-pagers, PRDs, design briefs and release plans.
Partner daily with engineering and design to scope, sequence and ship, making the tradeoff calls when timelines or capacity are constrained. - Improve search relevance and the discovery journey so buyers reach the right equipment with less effort.
Deliver and evolve the buying formats the marketplace offers, spanning auction bidding and fixed-price purchase.
Define success measures before launch, ensure they are instrumented, and use the results to decide what comes next.
Work with the upstream platform and listings teams whose services this experience depends on, and represent buyer needs in their roadmaps.
Support international rollout, where the same experience ships across multiple countries, languages and regulatory contexts.
Keep stakeholders and leadership current on progress, risks and outcomes without being chased for it.
Responsibilities
Responsible for an area of the buyer experience, end-to-end, including writing the story, driving cross-functional execution, making thoughtful product decisions along the way, and sharing insights and results throughout the company.
Evaluates market and consumer user experience research and results based on discovered industry trends and competitor landscapes, through conversations with the customer, data analysis and metrics.

Qualifications
Required qualifications
3+ years in product management, including consumer-facing web products where customers complete transactions.
Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a product area, from problem definition through launch and iteration.
Strong written communication: you can make a complex tradeoff legible to engineers and executives in the same document.
Comfort with technical systems: you can read an API contract, follow how data moves between services, and debate implementation tradeoffs credibly.
Fluency with product analytics and a habit of defining and monitoring your own metrics.
Preferred qualifications
Marketplace, auction or e-commerce experience, particularly where payment follows a commitment rather than an immediate cart checkout.
Search and relevance experience: ranking, filtering, query understanding.
Experience shipping across multiple countries and languages.
Familiarity with real-time systems such as live bidding or streaming updates.
Hands-on with AI development tools such as Claude Code, for investigating the codebase, tracing behaviour and checking data without waiting on engineering.
