DESCRIPTION

Summary:

This role will own our Advanced Packaging and Semiconductor product line. The Product Manager is responsible for the product roadmap, evolution of the products, customizations, delivery of machines per customer contracts, as well as aftermarket service, support and parts supply. As a leader, this individual will influence, build consensus, coach, guide and challenge their cross-functional team members and project/program managers.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • As the owner of the Product Roadmap, the Product Manager directs, guides and monitors performance of development projects and programs.
  • Engages with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations Planning and Quality to ensure we build and deliver to customer contract requirements.
  • Proactively manages the post-delivery lifecycle of each product, providing spare parts, service, and training until the end of life.
  • Set equipment specifications, performance requirements, target costs and target selling price for new products, features, and enhancements.
  • Conducts Return on Investment (ROI) analysis within Business Cases.
  • Partners with Business Development to understand the market/competition and broadcast information about our products' discriminators and value propositions.
  • Supports Business Development to respond to custom Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
  • Participates in the Sales & Operating Plan (S&OP) process (demand) and inputs data into ERP system relevant to new products and relevant updates.
  • Works with our Customer Order Center to ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer orders, especially where special prices, terms or specifications are requested.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study, with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a relevant market.
  • Master's Degree in business management and/or PMP certification is preferred.
  • Experience in the Semiconductor Advanced Packaging industry
  • Technical expertise in high-speed, high-accuracy automation equipment is preferred.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technical project teams.
  • Requires the ability to communicate clearly and deliver professional and influential presentations.
  • Position requires the ability to understand and interpret detailed technical documents and drawings.
  • SAP experience is a plus.


Responsibility for Quality Procedures or Direct Product Quality:
  • Adheres to Universal Quality System policies and procedures and uses Total Cycle Time principles and standard problem solving tools to continuously improve work processes.


Physical Demands:
  • May have to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Needs to be mobile enough to navigate through work areas.
  • Ability to travel globally up to 25%


Target Annual Pay Rate: $110,000 - $130,000 + Robust Benefits
