Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Product Manager, Experimentation and Optimization reports to the Manager, Digital Experimentation and Optimization and is responsible for leading product discovery, delivery, and execution of digital tests across an assigned portfolio. The assigned portfolio may include Inspiration and Booking, Post-Booking, Loyalty, or other digital customer journeys, and may change as business needs evolve. This Product Manager helps lead a small scrum team to bring experimentation and optimization opportunities to life. The role partners closely with Commercial teams, including e-commerce Marketing, as they develop business hypotheses, offers, campaigns, and test concepts in parallel.

The Product Manager translates those opportunities into clear requirements, prioritized backlog items, measurable experiments, and scalable digital capabilities. The Product Manager is accountable for driving measurable commercial impact within their assigned portfolio, including improvements to conversion, ancillary revenue, upsell, loyalty engagement, personalization, customer experience, and broader digital commerce outcomes. This role requires a hybrid product and experimentation mindset: commercially aware, technically curious, data-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across Product, Design, Analytics, Engineering, Technology, and Commercial partners.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the product lead for an assigned digital experimentation and optimization portfolio, which may include Inspiration and Booking, Post-Booking, Loyalty, or other digital customer journeys as business needs evolve.
  • Help lead a small scrum team through product discovery, definition, development, and delivery of digital tests, experiments, and optimization capabilities.
  • Partner with Commercial teams, including e-commerce Marketing, as they develop business hypotheses, offers, campaigns, and test concepts in parallel; translate those opportunities into actionable product requirements and backlog items.
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog and roadmap for assigned experimentation and optimization work, ensuring alignment to JetForward priorities, the broader experimentation roadmap, and shared commercial outcomes.
  • Elicit, document, and manage clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test hypotheses, success metrics, dependencies, and delivery expectations for experimentation initiatives.
  • Own assigned tests from intake through readout, ensuring each experiment is clearly scoped, technically feasible, measurable, customer-centered, and tied to revenue, conversion, loyalty, personalization, or customer experience outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Analytics, Product, Design, Technology, and Commercial partners to evaluate tradeoffs between customer experience, business value, technical feasibility, performance, data quality, and operational complexity.
  • Participate in acceptance testing, quality control, launch readiness, and post-launch validation to ensure digital experiments and optimization capabilities meet the business vision and JetBlue standards.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate experiment performance, product metrics, KPI/OKRs, learnings, risks, and recommended next actions for assigned portfolio work.
  • Partner with other Product Managers and Technology teams to ensure consistency in experimentation standards, roadmap alignment, platform usage, customer experience, and delivery practices across Digital.
  • Research, prototype, and recommend new digital capabilities, technology enhancements, and optimization opportunities that improve JetBlue's customer experience and commercial performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
