Description
Product Manager - Dealer Trust & Access
What You'll Do
Own and maintain the platform roadmap and backlog, aligning platform investments with product, operational, and business priorities - and defending prioritization decisions with data and clear rationale
Partner with engineering to evaluate technical constraints, drive platform trade-offs
Translate user, operational, and business needs into clear requirements that engineering can execute
Lead the dealer account security and access management product surface, including:
Secure system configuration and permission scoping
Access provisioning, role management, and entitlement controls
Detection and response to use case drift and account abuse patterns
Own the room in stakeholder and cross-functional meetings - surface issues, broker decisions, and drive to alignment without escalating to leadership for direction
Represent the needs of internal platform users, including operations, marketing, customer success, and product teams
What We're Looking For
5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning a B2B data or platform product (customer data platform, access management, data activation, or similar)
Demonstrated experience writing technical stories and acceptance criteria that data engineering and operations teams can execute without rewriting - your requirements are a decision, not a draft
Comfort reading API documentation, reviewing data models, and writing SQL to self-serve analytical questions
Proven track record of data-driven decision-making - you use available signals to form and defend positions rather than waiting for perfect information or managerial input
Direct, clear communicator - in writing and verbally. You say what you mean. You know when a decision has been made and you make sure the room knows it too
Operates independently by default - you seek input and collaborate actively, but you do not require a manager in the room to lead effectively or make calls
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward action. You identify problems, propose solutions, and move - proactively, not reactively
Proven ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams and drive each to outcomes simultaneously
Escalates blockers, not decisions - you bring your manager problems that genuinely need executive input, not questions you can answer yourself with available context
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building or managing B2B security, access, identity, or trust and safety products - where the product's job is to prevent harm, not just enable usage
Experience with use case drift detection, abuse pattern recognition, or policy enforcement in a platform context
Experience designing integrations between CRM and marketing automation platforms, including data flow architecture, field mapping, and trigger logic
Experience in automotive, marketplace, or two-sided platform environments
Thrives in execution-focused roles - you are more energized by getting things shipped and running well than by presenting strategies; results motivate you more than recognition
This is a hybrid role with in-office expectations determined by location and subject to change based on evolving business needs.
This position is open to applicants who are currently authorized to work in the United States and will not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $110,000-$165,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
What's In It for You
Competitive compensation package, including base salary and incentive opportunities where applicable.
Comprehensive health and wellness benefits for employees and eligible dependents.
Retirement savings programs, including company matching contributions where available.
