Full Job Description
Product Manager, Acquisition & Execution is responsible for contributing to the strategic direction and execution of Epson's direct-to-consumer subscription program, including subscription plan offerings, pricing, promotions, acquisition strategies, customer positioning, messaging, business requirements, Terms and Conditions, and online customer experience through sign up stage. Leads planning and execution activities for subscription launches, develops hardware and consumables logistics strategies, supports forecasts and business planning, conducts competitive insights and analysis, and partners with Product Management on advertising and marketing strategies.

This position will be based out of Epson America's headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule.

What You Will Be Doing:

Strategy
  • Contributes to the strategic direction, customer acquisition strategy, positioning, messaging, and market development plans for Epson's direct-to-consumer print subscription program.
  • Develops and manages subscription plan offerings, pricing strategies, promotional recommendations, and related business case proposals.
  • Conducts and analyzes market, customer, and competitive information and makes recommendations regarding plan structure, pricing, positioning, promotions, and acquisition opportunities.
  • Partners with the Group Product Manager, Subscription Programs to support business plans, forecasts, program objectives, critical success factors, and key performance indicators.
  • Partners with Product Management on advertising, marketing strategies, value proposition, and channel program execution.


Program Management and Execution
  • Develops acquisition strategies, including target customer definition, positioning, messaging, promotional approach, and customer offer strategy.
  • Responsible for the online customer experience through lease agreement signing, including requirements for enrollment, plan selection, offer presentation, pricing, promotions, eligibility, Terms and Conditions, and customer communications.
  • Develops and manages acquisition and execution activities for subscription program initiatives, including launch planning, business requirements, timelines, dependencies, risks, and readiness.
  • Executes launch activities for subscription plans, promotions, hardware offerings, consumables programs, and customer experience improvements.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining business requirements, Terms and Conditions, and related program documentation for assigned subscription initiatives.
  • Establishes and oversees structured processes for subscription product launches, acquisition initiatives, promotional programs, and customer experience enhancements.
  • Works cross-functionally with Product Management, Service, IT, Finance, Credit, Analytics, Operations, Accounting, Logistics, SEC, Marketing Communications, and other groups to manage subscription initiatives throughout the program lifecycle.


  • Partners with Product Management on execution of key advertising and marketing strategies.
  • Identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve subscription offerings, customer acquisition, operational execution, customer value, and financial performance.
  • Tracks program readiness, open issues, risks, decisions, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure successful execution.


Hardware, Consumables, Forecasting, and Business Planning
  • Develops and maintains forecasts for assigned subscription initiatives, including acquisition assumptions, hardware demand, consumables requirements, promotional impact, and related business plan inputs.
  • Participates in development of business plans and forecast updates, including BP/FCx activities, operating assumptions, and performance tracking.
  • Provides recommendations to support revenue, gross profit, inventory, customer experience, and program performance goals.
  • Develops hardware and consumables logistics strategies in support of subscription program acquisition, onboarding, replenishment, and customer lifecycle needs.
  • Monitors program performance and provides insights regarding subscriber acquisition, offer performance, conversion, customer behavior, competitive activity, and launch effectiveness.


What You Will Bring
  • 8-12 years experience in product management, program management, subscription programs, e-commerce, direct-to-consumer acquisition, or related business management discipline required.
  • Experience developing customer acquisition strategies, product or service offerings, pricing, promotions, or go-to-market programs
  • Consumer subscription program experience highly desired
  • Experience managing product or program launches from planning and requirements through execution and readiness
  • Understanding of online customer journeys, enrollment or conversion experiences, and customer-facing digital experiences
  • Experience developing business requirements and coordinating execution across multiple functional teams
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience in forecasting, business planning, pricing, or performance analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate customer, market, competitive, and performance data and make recommendations
  • Excellent project and program management skills with the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and competing priorities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence across functional areas
  • Experience collaborating in complex cross-functional and global environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $137,419 and $188,949 . Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
