Role Impact
We're looking for a Product Lead to bring clear direction and consistent execution to our product team within Engineering. You'll help turn the infrastructure behind frontier AI into a product that developers and researchers can use to build, evaluate, and improve their own models. You'll lead the team's product work, stay close to design and implementation, and work with our founders and technical leads to choose what matters most. San Francisco is our preferred location; remote is possible for the right candidate. Responsibilities
Set a focused product direction with the founders and technical leads. Turn customer needs and new technical capabilities into clear choices about what we build next.
Shape the connected customer experience across our whole platform: environments, evaluations, training, deployment, and traces. Partner with the teams building Model Factory, inference, and sandboxes to make those workflows work together.
Work directly with customers and our own researchers. Use their real workloads to find friction, test ideas, and turn useful experiments into dependable product features.
Stay hands-on through prototypes, product specs, design reviews, and working sessions with engineers.
Measure whether the product helps people succeed: time to a first useful result, repeat usage, production adoption, and where customers need help. Use that evidence to improve the roadmap.
Requirements
You've built and grown a technical product that (a lot of) people use in production.
You've led teams while balancing remaining hands-on, and understand when to direct execution vs. getting involved yourself.
You have the technical depth to prototype, work with APIs, and reason through system tradeoffs with engineers. Experience in developer tools, AI infrastructure, or ML platforms is required.
You care about how a product feels in use and strive to make each experience more simple or useful.
Design engineering experience is a big plus: you combine bold product vision with exceptional taste and a track record of shipping polished experiences.
You learn directly from customers, write clearly, and can turn an ambiguous problem into a concrete next step.
You're obsessed with building open superintelligence and putting the tools and know-how to create it in the hands of ambitious people everywhere.
Particularly useful domain experience: Ownership of training, inference, multi-agent, RL, continual learning, and/or evaluations systems. Benefits and Perks
$200,000-$300,000 base salary plus meaningful equity
Visa sponsorship and relocation support
Full medical, dental, and vision (covered for employees and dependents).
Flexible PTO.
$200/month health & wellness benefit.
Show us a product you're proud of, what you personally built or led, and how it changed after real people started using it.
