The
Product Director, Bispecifics and Portfolio Patient Marketing sits within a non-traditional patient marketing team with a dual mandate: advancing multiple myeloma portfolio education and driving patient activation for J&J's bispecifics portfolio, including TECVAYLI® and TALVEY®. In a fast-moving and highly competitive treatment landscape, the Product Director will help connect broader disease and treatment education with focused, brand-relevant activation-translating strategy into timely, patient-centered, compliant programs that improve understanding, support informed conversations, and help patients navigate the treatment journey.
The ideal candidate brings strong marketing fundamentals, a builder mindset, and a bias for action. They are comfortable moving between portfolio-level education and brand-level activation, working through ambiguity, and aligning complex cross-functional teams to keep pace with changing patient, market, and competitive needs.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Lead execution across the team's dual mandate: multiple myeloma portfolio education and patient activation for the J&J bispecifics portfolio, translating strategy into compliant programs from insight generation through content development, review, launch, and optimization.
- Develop and evolve patient-facing education that helps people understand multiple myeloma, the changing treatment landscape, and what to expect across the journey, while ensuring a clear connection to brand-specific activation when appropriate.
- Drive patient activation for TECVAYLI® and TALVEY® by identifying barriers to awareness, consideration, and treatment initiation and translating those insights into relevant content, resources, and channel experiences.
- Monitor patient, market, competitive, and performance signals and rapidly adjust priorities, plans, and execution as the treatment landscape evolves.
- Connect portfolio and brand efforts across channels to create a clear, cohesive patient experience, balancing immediate business needs with longer-term education and engagement priorities.
- Partner closely with agency teams and cross-functional stakeholders, including Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Market Research and Analytics, Advocacy and Communications, Media Excellence, Patient Support partners, and other hematology marketing teams, to align strategy, accelerate execution, and deliver accurate, compliant, and patient-centered programs.
- Use patient insights, market research, competitive intelligence, and program performance data to make recommendations, prioritize opportunities, and continuously optimize education and activation.
