Job Summary
We are seeking a professional with knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle and strong technical expertise in Java-based application development. The role requires an understanding of the complete product development lifecycle, from idea generation through launch and ongoing improvement, along with effective communication, creative problem-solving, and adaptability. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Java, Struts, Servlets, JSP, Tomcat, Oracle, and web development technologies, along with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and RESTful API architecture.
Key Responsibilities
• Apply product development lifecycle knowledge to support activities from idea generation through product launch and ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to communicate ideas, requirements, and solutions effectively.
• Analyze technical challenges and develop effective solutions using analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Adapt approaches and strategies to changing project requirements and business circumstances.
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Java 1.8 or later.
• Build and maintain web applications using Struts 1.3.8 or later, Servlets, JSP, Tomcat 8 or later, and related technologies.
• Work with Oracle 11.2.x or later for application data management.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces using CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and DHTML.
• Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and established design patterns to develop maintainable applications.
• Design and support RESTful APIs in accordance with application architecture requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Knowledge of the complete Product Development Lifecycle, from idea generation through launch and beyond.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication styles for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain flexible and adjust strategies as requirements and circumstances change.
• Proficiency in Java 1.8 or later.
• Experience with Struts 1.3.8 or later.
• Knowledge of Servlet/JSP 2.3 or later and Servlet API 3.1 or later.
• Experience with Tomcat 8 or later.
• Experience with Oracle 11.2.x or later.
• Knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and DHTML.
• Good proficiency in Java object-oriented programming concepts.
• Knowledge of RESTful API architecture.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns.
