JOB DESCRIPTION

The Firmwide Product & Design Recruiting team partners across lines of business to hire world-class talent in Product Management and Product Experience/Design. We operate as strategic advisors to hiring leaders, combining market insights, proactive sourcing, inclusive hiring practices, and operational rigor to deliver strong outcomes for candidates and the business—at scale.

As a VP Product & Design Recruiting Relationship Manager, you will be a hands-on, full-cycle recruiter focused on Executive Director (ED) Product and Design searches. You will serve as the primary relationship lead for aligned Product and Design stakeholder groups, owning end-to-end search delivery (intake through close) while providing disciplined requisition governance, stakeholder operating rhythms, and data-informed updates. This is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Executive Director (ED) Product and Design roles from intake through close (sourcing, screening, interview management, offer execution), delivering a high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience at scale.
  • Serve as the primary Recruiting Relationship Manager (RM) for aligned Product and Design leader groups; establish operating rhythms, manage senior stakeholder expectations and escalations, and provide clear hiring strategy, market insights, and pipeline guidance.
  • Drive role calibration with hiring leaders (profiles, competencies, leveling alignment, interview plans, timelines, assessment expectations) to ensure consistent and efficient execution.
  • Build and maintain proactive and diverse pipelines via direct sourcing, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach; present structured candidate slates and assessments with recommendations.
  • Own requisition management and governance, including prioritization, hiring pauses/holds, and reprioritization changes, ensuring controls, compliance, and process rigor.
  • Deliver Team Hiring Updates and a consolidated monthly update by the 16th (with all partner inputs); establish and automate reporting where applicable.
  • Lead best-practice optimization across hiring workflows (intake quality, interview discipline, assessment consistency, communications) and manage feedback loops to improve client satisfaction.
  • Handle special requests and ad hoc stakeholder needs while identifying, tracking, and resolving risks/issues across the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Invest in professional development to deepen Product/Design market expertise, inclusive hiring practices, and advisory impact.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in AI-enabled recruiting tools and workflows (e.g., talent market mapping, sourcing optimization, candidate engagement, and funnel analytics) to improve speed, quality, and consistency while adhering to firm controls, privacy, and fair-hiring practices, consistent with firm AI/ML governance and risk management standards.
  • Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for process management utilizing firm-approved capabilities and platforms (including proprietary tools and approved third-party solutions, as applicable) in alignment with firm third-party controls and governance.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience (in-house and/or agency).
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for Product and Design roles (e.g., Product Management, Product Design/UX/UI, UX Research, Content Design, Service Design).
  • Experience supporting and closing complex offers and navigating senior stakeholder groups.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support continual process improvement, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Proficiency with recruiting systems/tools (ATS) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience recruiting in highly competitive product/design talent markets and scaling pipelines across multiple role families.
  • Demonstrated success building diverse candidate slates through inclusive sourcing and market mapping.
  • Strong analytical and operational discipline; ability to use metrics to drive execution, process improvement, and reporting/automation.
  • Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence is a plus.
