OverviewScout Studios is looking for a Producer to help turn ambitious creative ideas into organized, executable productions.
As an integral function on the Scout Studios team, this role will serve as a critical bridge between creative ambition and production execution, bringing structure, foresight, communication, and accountability to a growing pipeline of original storytelling, product and lifestyle content, and films.
The right person is equal parts organizer, problem solver, collaborator, and producer. You understand creative vision, how the work gets made, can anticipate what a production needs before it becomes a problem, and can confidently move between creative teams, internal stakeholders, agencies, vendors, talent, locations, and crews.
This isn't simply a coordination role. We're looking for someone who has both a creative and organizational eye and can take ownership of productions to allow Scout Studios to operate at a high creative and operational level as the team's output continues to grow.
What you'll doBecome part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Produce Scout Studios projects from initial brief through production, post-production, and final delivery.
- Partner closely with the creative team of directors, cinematographers, editors, and content creators to translate creative concepts into executable production plans.
- Build and manage production schedules, timelines, call sheets, budgets, crew plans, equipment needs, travel, locations, permitting, talent, releases, insurance, and logistics.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, external production partners, agencies, freelancers, vendors, and talent.
- Own production communication and ensure teams understand deliverables, deadlines, responsibilities, and changing priorities.
- Identify potential production challenges early and proactively develop solutions.
- Manage multiple productions and workstreams simultaneously without losing sight of details.
- Support location scouting, casting, vehicle coordination, travel planning, and field-production logistics.
- Track project budgets, purchase orders, invoices, vendor agreements, and production expenses.
- Help maintain visibility into the overall Scout Studios production pipeline and resource requirements.
- Partner with post-production teams to ensure assets, schedules, feedback, and deliverables move cleanly from production through completion.
- Help establish scalable production processes, templates, workflows, and standards as Scout Studios grows.
- Build trusted relationships across Brand, Communications, Social, CRM, Events, Product, Design, and other internal teams.
- Be comfortable jumping into the unexpected. Production rarely goes exactly according to plan, and solving those moments is part of the job.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- This role will involve regular travel to productions, events, locations, and Scout facilities. Candidates should be comfortable working in active production environments, including outdoor locations and occasionally weekends, and long days.
- This role will be embedded in the ongoing development of the Scout Motors company, brand, and vehicles. As such, travel will be a meaningful and necessary part of this role, with expected travel expected to average 30%.
- Scout vehicles are being developed for rugged adventure, worksite use, daily-living, and everything in-between, and candidates for this role should expect that travel will take them to a variety of climates and environments, including potentially harsher cold-weather, hot-weather, mountainous, and remote locations.
- Candidates for this position should carry an active drivers' license, and be comfortable driving on urban, highway, and country roads, gravel roads, and some light off-road trails when needed.
What you'll bringWe expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. You'll be comfortable with change and flexible in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You'll take a collaborative approach to achieve ambitious goals. Here's what else you'll bring:

- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Confidence working directly with senior creative leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Strong judgment and the ability to make decisions quickly in changing production environments.
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications - Automotive or mobility experience.
- Experience producing documentary or unscripted storytelling.
- Experience with experiential, events, or live production.
- Familiarity with automotive shoots involving picture vehicles, tracking vehicles, specialty rigs, and remote locations.
- Experience helping build or scale an internal creative studio.
- Existing relationships with production companies, crews, vendors, and freelance talent.
