This position will be located in the Texas/Oklahoma area.
The Procurement Manager will lead procurement activities for a new data center site, with an initial focus on supporting capital construction and infrastructure projects. This role will play a critical part in delivering large-scale mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure packages on schedule and within budget.
Job requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business , Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of progressive procurement experience, including capital project sourcing within the construction or Data Center industry.
- Experience supporting large infrastructure, industrial, energy, or data center projects.
- Demonstrated success leading complex negotiations and contract management.
- Experience building or leading procurement teams.
- Strong understanding of commercial terms, contract structures, and risk mitigation.
- Experience working within ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Experience in data center, mission-critical, energy, or high-availability environments.
- Experience supporting greenfield site builds or major expansions.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure supply markets.
Job responsibilities Capital Project Support- Manage procurement activities for mechanical, electrical, structural, and critical equipment packages
- Run RFQs/RFPs, evaluate proposals, and support vendor selection
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms
- Track long-lead items and ensure on-time delivery
- Partner closely with Engineering, Construction, Legal, and Finance
Supplier & Contract Management- Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships
- Support onboarding and performance tracking
- Assist with contract review and compliance
- Monitor vendor performance against KPIs
Operational Procurement- Support site operations with purchasing and service contracts
- Monitor spend and identify cost efficiencies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure accurate PO and system management (SAP preferred)
