Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or related field required.
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing category management experience in a major organization.
• Experience managing complex RFPs.
• Willingness to travel to various sites in the US and Canada.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Define standard work methods with Engineering and Legal to maximize value from capital expenditures.
• Manage $200 million annual purchasing for industrial goods and services, aligning sourcing strategies with organizational needs.
• Implement total cost of ownership (TCO) method to determine sourcing approaches based on project type.
• Consolidate purchases across production sites in the US and Canada to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to redefine requirements for key projects.
• Lead RFP processes, negotiate contracts, and select suppliers.
• Enhance contractual coverage and manage risks with involved departments.
• Develop and manage key supplier relationships to ensure fair engagement and efficiency.
• Negotiate master agreements with major suppliers to expedite project execution and minimize risk.
• Aim for annual savings of at least 5% in the category and establish key performance indicators.
