Responsibilities:

  • Review and report on acquisition documentation within CEFile (Contract Electronic File) in accordance with the QA/IC Program Plan.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail in all compliance and documentation activities.
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc reports to ASB managers.
  • Process requests for FOIA, audits, and ad‑hoc data calls by pulling only the required documentation from CEFile.
  • Conduct thorough investigative reviews of contract files to identify relevant documents, regardless of how they are labeled or where they are located.
  • Utilize contracting and procurement expertise to accurately determine which materials are applicable to compliance review.
  • Draft clear, professional reports summarizing findings from contract file examinations and provide these reports to leadership to inform oversight and decision‑making.



Qualifications:

Note: This role is remote but requires the selected candidate to reside within the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

  • BA or BS degree in a business‑related field, management, or legal field.
  • At least ten (10) years of direct procurement experience in the federal government and/or private sector.
  • Clearance Requirement: Public Trust.
  • Experience working with GSA Schedules, GWACs, and MA IDIQs.
  • Demonstrated understanding and practical experience with acquisition management principles across the full contract lifecycle (pre‑award through closeout).
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple contract types for supplies and services (e.g., FFP/LOE, T&M, FFP, CPFF, CPIF, CPAF).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges, establish processes to avoid issues, and manage administrative workflows on behalf of management.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in demanding environments and to build productive internal and external working relationships.
  • Proven ability to set a positive example for teamwork, proactively mitigate misunderstandings, expand working relationships, and effectively influence outcomes.



Desired:

  • Master’s Degree in a business‑related field, management, or legal field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of direct procurement experience in the federal government and/or private sector in contract management with a focus on quality assurance and implementation.
  • Certification: Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or similar certification in government procurement practices (e.g., FAC Professional or FAC‑C Level 1 or equivalent).
