Full Job Description
As a Procurement Business Partner supporting Technology & Product, you'll lead sourcing initiatives and manage supplier relationships across assigned technology categories. You will partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Data, Information Security, and Finance stakeholders to understand demand, evaluate suppliers, and develop commercial strategies aligned with business and technology roadmaps. By combining market insight, financial analysis, and strong stakeholder partnership, you'll deliver measurable value, mitigate risk, and support scalable technology investment. What You'll Do • Lead sourcing initiatives across assigned technology categories, including enterprise software, SaaS, cloud and infrastructure, hardware, telecom, data, AI, developer tools, cybersecurity, and technology services. • Partner with Technology & Product stakeholders to understand demand, challenge requirements, and develop sourcing strategies aligned with roadmaps, architecture decisions, and business priorities. • Lead competitive sourcing events, including RFx development, proposal analysis, supplier evaluation, commercial analysis, and supplier selection. • Develop business cases and negotiate software licensing, cloud and consumption commitments, data and AI arrangements, hardware, and professional-services agreements. • Conduct spend, utilization, market, supplier, benchmark, and total-cost-of-ownership analyses to identify sourcing and optimization opportunities. • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring partners meet expectations for cost, service, performance, security, scalability, and innovation. • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Technology stakeholders to address contractual and third-party risks. • Leverage analytics, AI, automation, and data-driven insights to improve sourcing outcomes, supplier management, and procurement effectiveness. What You'll Bring • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field, with at least 6 years of experience in strategic sourcing, technology procurement, category management, vendor management, or a related commercial function. • Proven experience leading technology sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, competitive sourcing events, and contract discussions across categories including software as a service (SaaS), cloud services, enterprise licensing, data, artificial intelligence, hardware, telecommunications, and professional services. • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience evaluating pricing, benchmarking, utilization, total cost of ownership, and business cases to support sourcing decisions. • The ability to translate technology roadmaps and business requirements into practical sourcing strategies while building strong partnerships across Technology, Finance, Legal, and supplier stakeholders. • Experience leveraging analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, or procurement technologies to improve sourcing outcomes, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. #LI-CC1 We're a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 105,800.00 USD - 132,300.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
