If you are a seasoned quality auditor professional looking to make an impact in a rewarding industry, join our team! As a Process Quality Internal Auditor III, you will take on a role in leading and executing internal audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS). This highly experienced position involves advanced auditing, process improvement, and regulatory compliance, requiring substantial expertise and leadership in quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct complex internal audits to ensure QMS compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and manage audit schedules, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Ensure comprehensive adherence to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
  • Lead the development and implementation of corrective actions for audit findings.
  • Drive strategic process improvement initiatives and support continuous quality enhancement.
  • Train and mentor junior auditors and other staff on quality standards and audit procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate quality standards into all processes.
  • Develop strategies for ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Manage external audits and supplier audits.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years as an auditor, or in a related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of related experience is required.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and utilization of AS9100, ISO 9001 and other applicable Military and statutory standards and specifications.
  • Experience participating in external audits as guide.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Certified Auditor or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and database experience.
  • Experience with Statistical Analysis Methodology.
  • Communicate and present internal audit information.
  • Experience participating in external audits as facilitator.
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Familiarization with Six Sigma.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
  • Requirement to be on feet for a significant portion of the work shift.
  • Majority of work hours spent on a computer.
  • Hand/finger dexterity for using office equipment.
  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for audit activities at different locations.
