Process Improvement Director
Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Process Improvement Director is responsible for leading enterprise-wide continuous improvement efforts through the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, process optimization strategies, and operational excellence principles. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, Black Belt certification or equivalent advanced experience, to identify opportunities for improvement, develop and implement best practices and continuous improvement to drive measurable business outcomes.

- Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Researches, develops, and implements related best practices.
- Develops metrics to track performance and goal achievement.
- Serves as internal consultant relative to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identifies and develops plans to improve performance to be incorporated enterprise wide.
- Organizes and directs project team members.
- Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years of process improvement experience with planning, project management, business analysis, and leadership role experience. or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Healthcare payer space strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge and experience applying Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, Black Belt certification or equivalent structured problem-solving methodologies to solve complex business problems strongly preferred.
- Strong end-to-end thinking, including identifying impacted stakeholders, assessing downstream implications, and driving cross-functional alignment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present data-driven business recommendations, including cost/benefit, risk, opportunity, and tradeoff analysis preferred.
- Strong evidence-based reasoning, using data, benchmarks, case studies, and other relevant information to support recommendations preferred.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, executive-level insights and recommendations preferred.
- Strong project leadership and ownership, with the ability to independently drive projects while effectively leveraging and coordinating project team members preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, balancing hands-on execution with project and stakeholder leadership preferred.
- Process mapping experience using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) or flowchart shapes preferred.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $110,160 to $198,288.
Location(s): Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, New York, and Virginia.
