MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: • Bachelor's degree, Supply Chain, Management, or related field. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • 4 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications) • Experience and understanding of SFO production process and customer requirements • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt • Graduate degree in related field KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plans and communicates production schedules to sales, leadership, and floor personnel. • Monitors progress to ensure the schedule is being met. Part of the team that will troubleshoot problems that occur during production including staff, material shortages and unexpected delays. • Using deep process knowledge and understanding of customer expectations, disposition product which requires management review to ensure product quality is sufficient and schedules are met. • Determine, monitor, and maintain proper levels of raw and finished goods. • Communicate with sales and engineering to understand customer requirements. • Works closely with sales, logistics, and production to ensure sales orders ship on time. • Creates, reviews, released and reports the progress of production orders. • Prepares reports about production processes for management. • Recommends and implements improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and engineer documentation. • Performs inventory counts and adjustments. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: • Detailed technical knowledge of the end to end order fulfillment process. • Detailed technical knowledge of the product shipped and related manufacturing and logistics processes • Ability to research, troubleshoot and independently resolve issues throughout the order fulfillment process • Ability to use ad-hoc data collection and analysis tools • Proven experience in planning and forecasting within a manufacturing environment. • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication abilities. • Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of job area and in-depth knowledge of project management. • Manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction. • Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches. • Makes significant improvements in processes, systems, or products. • Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results. • Communicates within and outside of the organization which include customers or vendors. • Works to influence others to accept individual or team's views or practices and changes to concepts, practices and approaches. • Communicates with leadership regarding matters of importance to the functional or business area. • May conduct briefings with leaders. • Implements strategic goals established by leadership. • Establishes operational plans for job area with short-term impact on results (e.g., less than 1 year).
