Process Engineer located in
Littleton, MA.Reporting to the Sr Director, Operations the Process Engineer will help develop and improve the manufacturing processes behind our next generation of cooling technology. You’ll work alongside our engineering, design, quality, and supply chain teams, as well as external manufacturing partners, to help bring innovative products from development into production. This is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact at a fast-moving technology startup. You’ll get hands-on experience across product development, manufacturing processes, supplier development, tooling, and production ramp-up while working on products supporting some of today’s fastest-growing industries including aerospace, electric vehicles, and data centers.
What a typical day looks like:
- Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new and existing cooling products.
- Work with internal engineering teams and external manufacturing partners to identify manufacturing requirements and design-for-manufacturing opportunities.
- Develop, document, and improve assembly, test, and manufacturing processes.
- Support tooling and fixture development and work with suppliers to implement improvements.
- Balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Collaborate with design engineers to identify manufacturing challenges early in the product development process.
- Help evaluate and qualify suppliers based on their capabilities, quality, processes, equipment, and ability to support JETCOOL products
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, aerospace engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, product development, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills using various engineering principles.
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask questions and brings others into a problem.
- Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced startup culture.
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Professional history working with contract manufacturers or external fabrication partners.
- Technical proficiency in production of designs involving precision components
- Experience in production of high reliability and performance network products
- Hands-on knowledge with one or more of the following, leak testing, assembly automation and tooling and fixture development
- Work history with fluid-handling hardware such as fittings, tubing, seals, or gaskets.
- Strong familiarity with manufacturing quality, supply chain, logistics, or production operations.
- Awareness of challenges in operations, logistics, quality assurance, and supply chain management.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, aerospace engineering, or a related discipline.
