Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evaluation, design, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, efficiency, and robustness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions, process development, product and equipment transfers, and ongoing production sustainment.
  • Develop and approve technical documentation, including process validations and inspection methodologies, in coordination with Quality, Engineering, and Production Control teams.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct risk analyses, lead root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions to mitigate production risks and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Drive operational excellence through the application of LEAN tools, change control management, and process optimization initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment in an Engineering or CI role.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret contracts, technical specifications, and engineering drawings for both commercial and military products.
  • Strong understanding of core manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, fixturing, and assembly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Experience working in an OEM environment, with a focus on process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work closely with teams across production control, engineering, quality, purchasing, and external service providers.
