Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; engineering degree or relevant hands-on experience preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in methods engineering, machining, welding, or related areas.
• 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment in an Engineering or Continuous Improvement role.
• Ability to analyze contracts, technical specifications, and engineering drawings for military and commercial products.
• Strong understanding of machining, welding, fixturing, and assembly processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in an OEM environment focusing on process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, design, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product introductions and process development.
• Develop and approve technical documentation with Quality, Engineering, and Production Control teams.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct risk analyses and lead root cause investigations to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Drive operational excellence using LEAN tools and process optimization initiatives.
