2-5 years of experience as a Process/Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in solid modeling tools like Creo or SolidWorks
Familiar with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Basic understanding of statistical concepts
Preferred experience with PCBA SMT and soldering
Preferred background in designing and assembling telecommunication cable assemblies
Responsibilities
Support design and development of new Hi-Speed Cable products for manufacturability
Define, source, and implement equipment/tooling for Hi-Speed Cable assemblies
Evaluate and implement customer specifications for cable assembly customization
Develop and optimize Hi-Speed cable assembly manufacturing processes
Assist in design, procurement, and debugging of fixtures and tooling
Document process details and facilitate transfer to volume manufacturing sites
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 10-15%

Position: Process Engineer
Location: Nashua, NH
Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Process Engineer to join our Hi-Speed Cable team. The position will be located onsite in our Nashua, New Hampshire office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Design and Development of new Hi-Speed Cable products to optimize manufacturability. (Quality, Cost, Efficiency)
Define, Source, and Implement equipment/tooling needed to build Hi-Speed Cable assemblies in Nashua to support early sample builds for in house design validation and customer requirements
Evaluate, understand, and implement elements from customer specifications that define required cable assembly customization
Develop, support, and optimize Hi-Speed cable assembly manufacturing process in Nashua
Assist in design, procurement, and debug of fixtures and tooling
Establish and document process details. Drive transfer of manufacturing tools and processes to volume manufacturing sites
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10-15%
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-5 years of experience as Process/Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of solid modeling tools, (Creo, SolidWorks, etc.)
