Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, chemical, controls) and 12+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Preferred experience in consumer products, chemicals, food, or regulated manufacturing.
• Expertise with Rockwell Automation PLCs, FactoryTalk Batch/View, and ISA-88.
• Strong skills in chemical process automation (batching, dosing, mixing, transfer).
• Experience with CIP/SIP cleaning systems and historian/reporting platforms.
• Ability to read technical drawings and process documents.
• Knowledge of OSHA and industrial safety practices.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with MES and version control tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of FactoryTalk Batch systems.
• Develop scalable batch recipes and automation strategies from process requirements.
• Integrate and standardize automation with other platforms (PLCs, HMI, MES).
• Troubleshoot complex automation issues and drive process improvements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support for major projects.
• Uphold safety standards and company values, assisting with other tasks as needed.
• Ensure performance maintains safety standards, as this is a safety-sensitive role.
