The Process Control Network/Windows Systems Administrator is a technical expert in the support, design, configuration, and change of systems supporting the Industrial Control Systems and their integration into the overall local network called the Process Control Network (PCN). The Network/Windows Admin provides Network domain administration, Windows system administration, system integration, security and operational IT hardware support for systems within the Process Control Network (PCN) onshore and offshore locations. This role is focused on the configuration and maintenance of security controls that safeguard the process control layer from outsider access. The role will also support PCN project activities with operational support activities based on demand.
This role is based in New Orleans, Louisiana and requires being in the office a minimum of 3 days a week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Operate the PCN cyber security controls focusing on patching, anti virus, backup & restore, and asset inventory controls.
. Provide IT support to the PCN through Network administration and support, server system administration, workstation support, and break/fix.
. Maintain asset inventory and logical network drawings of PCN components documenting PCN systems, network traffic, and data interfaces.
. Design and implement data communication channels and technology selections for data transfers between systems
. Develop, maintain and execute any site specific procedures required to maintain PCN security compliance.
. Have an overview of security measures implemented and documented non compliance to information security requirements
. Performing site visits to production units for remediation activities and to assure controls and procedures in place.
. Provide afterhours support on an on call basis
. Travel to offshore platforms - 8 trips per year averaging 3 5 days a trip
. Must be able to pass Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) certification and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card
. Design, implement, and review firewall rules in line with customer's cyber security best practices.
. Monitor servers, networks and communication equipment using implemented tools, systems and applications (SolarWinds, Splunk, etc)
. Maintain and backup system configuration for servers and network equipment and ensure backups are stored securely
. Review security logs and provide reports for identifying potential intrusion, and escalate incidents as necessary, ensuring incidents are properly investigated, remediated, reviewed and closed
. Implement change management procedures and testing procedures for network and endpoint security and ensure endorsement from business
. Patch and update network device firmware
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. Minimum of 3 years networking and windows system administration experience
. 3 years implementing and managing IT security within Industrial Control Systems Operations Technology (OT)
. Skilled level proficiency in the areas of Active Directory, Windows Operating Systems, and Server and PC maintenance.
. Strong technical skills and experience in network device configuration (switch, router, firewall) and systems administration (Wintel, Linux)
. A strong understanding of international industrial cyber security standards and ecosystem
. Must be able to pass Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) certification
. Must be able to obtain and keep a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card certification current
. Must comply with customers' HSSE Rules
. Minimum Education or Certification: 4 year Degree related to IT or relevant experience
. Must be able to respond to emergency calls as needed (including after hours) and work extended hours as appropriate

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $110,100.00 $194,000.00.
