Summary of Job Responsibilities:The Pediatric Hospital Medicine department is looking to hire full time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing culturally appropriate healthcare to the inpatient pediatric nursery, NICU babies, and infants within the Alaska Native Medical Center.
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Alaska.
- Current certification as a NNP through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Meets all requirements in order to obtain associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, and/or ALSO as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required.
Additional Qualifications for Pediatric Hospital Medicine:- Pediatric Hospital Medicine: Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) through the National Certification Corporation (NCC) or similar certifying body.
