Private Events Catering ManagerPOSITION SUMMARYResponsible for managing the catering staff in all duties including training new associates, overseeing event set-ups and directing temporary personnel in addition to their every- day assignments. Ensuring proper service to clients during events, including set-up and breakdown procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Supervise all catering events and team members throughout service
- Manage monthly inventory
- Input monthly declining labor
- Hire and train new employees
- Track and monitor server's hours per each event.
- Communicate on various levels to include management, associate level and clients.
- Generate BEOs for regular basketball season/playoffs.
- Submit tips for servers when working at bars
- Create signs and PID's for regular and basketball season/playoffs
- Schedule catering staff for events based on event size and needs
- Submit schedule on mystaff
- Email availability form to all employees for their new shifts
- Send staff schedule -smartsheet
- Responsible for consistently implementing the service standards and operating procedure in the catering service.
- Manage each event waste logs
- Keep track/collect all temperature logs
- Input and correct/edit servers card time
- Enforce catering procedures to the team
- Work closely with GM and management to improve team performance.
- Maintain and charge all POS for bar sales.
- Work closely with catering chef's during events
- Attend weekly BEO meetings
- Supervise/maintain pantry organization and cleanliness
- Requisition input and put away
- Managing end of events logistics
- Track and control last minute schedule changes
- Ensuring that last minute scheduling gets handled with HR and security guidelines. (Amy and mystaff gets updated)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of food service/hospitality experience, including team management
- ServSafe Certification
- Proficient in computer skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Stand, walk for an extended period
- Lift objects less than or equal to 25 pounds
WORK CONDITIONS- Management team is very supportive and empowering.

- Occasional long extended hours
