Overview

LMI is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead a technology modernization program supporting PAE Ground Soldier Systems. This role owns program execution, technical delivery, team performance, customer relationships, and business outcomes. The successful candidate will combine strong program discipline with the technical judgment to lead multidisciplinary delivery and make sound decisions under operational, security, and schedule constraints. This position requires an active Secret clearance.

 

Responsibilities
  • Own program execution from technical roadmap through production delivery.
  • Manage cost, schedule, performance, staffing, risk, and contractual commitments.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team spanning software, data, cloud, cyber, and product disciplines.
  • Serve as LMI’s primary interface with government stakeholders.
  • Work with technical leaders to resolve priorities, dependencies, and delivery risks.
  • Communicate program performance and decisions to customer and LMI executive leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to expand platform adoption, mission value, and LMI’s support.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ten or more years of experience leading complex technology programs.
  • Demonstrated ownership of program financials, schedules, delivery, and team performance.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary product or engineering teams.
  • Sufficient technical depth to evaluate delivery approaches, architectural tradeoffs, and technical risk.
  • Experience supporting a Department of Defense customer.
  • Strong executive communication and customer-engagement skills.
  • Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the U.S. Army.
  • Familiarity with Army acquisition or soldier-systems organizations.
  • Experience leading data, software, cloud, or digital-platform programs.
  • Experience expanding platform adoption or supporting business growth.
  • Project Management Professional or comparable certification.

The target salary range for this position is $134,000-$190,000. 

 

The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.   

 

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance. Only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
