Principal Specialist, Contracts (Remote)What You Will Do: - Provide contractual guidance to cross functional partners to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with company policies.
- Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop and maintain business relationships.
- Support the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development and negotiation of proposals, contractual agreements, and general contract administration.
- Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure the contract is followed compliantly.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they may arise.
- Facilitate and ensure communication and coordination with the internal/external customer program team.
- Adhere to and comply with standardized corporate procedures and compliance documentation.
- Disseminate ("Flowdown") customer contractual requirements within the organization.
- Act as liaison between internal and external customers and respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work autonomously with oversight.
- Contract closeout activities including material and property dispositioning, patent reporting and final invoicing.
What You Will Learn:- Take an active role in managing contracts and engaging directly with program leadership.
- Exposure to business management reviews with leadership support such as quarterly EAC Reviews.
- How to effectively negotiate and resolve complex issues.
Qualifications You Must Have:- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience in contracts management of U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and / or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
Qualifications We Prefer: - Experience preparing and negotiating Sole Source and Competitive Proposals Ability to consistently apply company policy and procedures governing all aspects of contract management and TINA compliance.
- Ability to manage a high volume of contracts simultaneously ranging from large multi-year support programs to small repairs.
- Experience in contracts negotiations, execution, and administration of various contracts aspects, including price, Statement of Work, terms and conditions.
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) requirements.
- Understanding of financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification.
- Ability to multi-task with routine and complex contract/proposal activities while responding to emerging quick response activities.
- Experience with direct engagement with external customers.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
