The Principal Product Manager, Direct to Referrer (DTR) Marketing is responsible for driving downstream strategy and execution for the WATCHMAN franchise. This role is ideal for a marketer with solid downstream experience who is ready to deepen functional expertise, drive cross-functional initiatives, and influence commercial direction through data-driven insights, field and customer engagement, and strong execution. The Principal Product Manager, DTR will operate independently on defined workstreams, solve a range of problems using functional knowledge, and provide guidance to junior team members as appropriate. The ideal candidate brings a mix of commercial acumen, clinical understanding, and executional excellence to build momentum for the business today and lay the foundation for long-term growth.
Work Mode: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:Market Development & Downstream Strategy - Represents DTR and the franchise in shaping strategy for referrer audience engagement and independently develops and champions strategy and campaign proposals.
- Lead DTR capability advancements and partner closely with digital product managers and architects, Therapy Awareness teams and Marketing to drive implementation and execution.
- Partner closely with KOLs and field teams to gather insights, document unmet needs and outcomes, and translate them into compelling marketing and training materials.
- Manage the WATCHMAN DTR performance, including tracking key metrics such as credited referrals, resource utilization, field activation, and develop data-driven recommendations to address business opportunities.
- Support Referrer focused medical education, conferences and symposiums by representing WATCHMAN and the DTR marketing team.
Cross-
Functional Influence - Collaborate with external vendors and Marketing Analytics to lead various market research initiatives that gather customer and market insights to inform key decisions, marketing strategies and execution plans.
- Partner with CMDE to develop tools, programs, and evidence-based messaging to support the field organization in engaging key customers and driving adoption.
- Work cross-functionally with Patient Marketing, Implanter Marketing, Sales, Training, Medical Education, Clinical, Sales Operations, and HEMA to deliver cohesive and efficient market execution.
Leadership and Team Development - Operate with strong ownership and follow-through across all assigned initiatives.
- Acts as a resource and provide guidance, coaching, or context to colleagues with less experience when needed.
- Contribute to best practices within the broader WATCHMAN marketing organization, particularly in strategy, customer insight, and cross-functional alignment.
Required qualifications: - Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience.
- Downstream experience (i.e. product management, sales engagement, and campaign strategy)
- Demonstrated success working as an integral member of cross functional teams and the ability to develop deep clinical expertise in a medical device product line.
- Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
