Role: Principal HR Technology Solutions Architect - UKG Performance Management

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect - UKG Performance Management to lead the design, migration, optimization, and long-term evolution of our performance management ecosystem.
This role will serve as the strategic advisor, solution architect, and implementation lead responsible for transforming our performance management program from Engagedly to the UKG Performance Management platform while establishing a scalable, sustainable, and data-driven performance management framework.
The ideal candidate combines deep UKG expertise with strong HR technology consulting experience and the ability to translate business objectives into enterprise-wide performance management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Strategy
  • Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of the UKG Performance Management solution.
  • Assess current-state performance management processes, technology, workflows, and governance models.
  • Design future-state performance management capabilities aligned with organizational goals.
  • Recommend best practices and optimization opportunities leveraging UKG functionality.
  • Establish solution design standards, governance frameworks, and operating procedures.
Performance Management Transformation
  • Lead migration of annual performance review programs from Engagedly into UKG Performance.
  • Evaluate existing review processes and identify opportunities to improve employee, manager, and leadership experiences.
  • Design performance review templates, workflows, competencies, goal frameworks, rating methodologies, and development planning processes.
  • Ensure business requirements are translated into scalable system configurations.
UKG Configuration & Implementation Leadership
  • Provide hands-on leadership for UKG Performance configuration activities.
  • Define technical and functional requirements.
  • Oversee solution build, testing, deployment, and production readiness activities.
  • Manage defect resolution and support user acceptance testing efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to implementation best practices and quality standards.
Data Migration & Integration
  • Develop migration strategies for historical performance data.

Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
Experience
  • 8+ years of HR technology consulting, solution architecture, or enterprise application implementation experience.
  • 5+ years leading UKG Performance Management implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience migrating performance management programs from legacy platforms.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives.
  • Experience designing and implementing reporting and analytics frameworks.
  • Strong background in business process redesign and organizational change management.
