Summary of Role: In this reliability engineering role, you will work cross-functionally with integration, device, and design teams among others in the RF product line to drive reliability objectives through development and qualification. A solid background in semiconductor reliability is essential to success in this role.
Essential Responsibilities: - Drive reliability planning, testing, and assessments for GF Radio Frequency (RF) technology offerings in RF-SOI, RF-SiGe, and RF-GaN technologies using risk based thinking and latest developments RF device reliability physics.
- Support test vehicle preparation by providing test structure design input and participating in design reviews.
- Drive root cause analysis of reliability test, initiate failure analysis work, propose corrective actions, and continually update FMEAs
- Prepare qualification plans and reports for both internal and external customers
- Function as a technical resource for reliability lab operations
- Coordinate logistics in preparing samples and allocating test time
Other Responsibilities:- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications: - An advanced Degree (MS or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or another applicable field
- 3-5 years of semiconductor technology and reliability engineering experience
- Strong foundation in device and reliability physics, accelerated test methodologies, and reliability modeling.
- Working knowledge of key intrinsic semiconductor reliability mechanisms, including HCI, BTI, TDDB, EM, and SM.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to drive solutions to reliability challenges.
- > 5 years of semiconductor technology and product reliability engineering experience
- Experience with RF technology device performance and reliability
Expected Salary Range$85,000.00 - $146,000.00
