Job SummaryThe primary function of the Elementary Principal is to serve as the educational leader and chief executive officer of the school with total responsibility to manage all aspects of the school, including the general control and supervision of all certificated and classified employees assigned to serve in the school; the direction of the instructional program; and the total operation of the school.

Comments and Other InformationAlmond Blossom Elementary School is a brand new TK- 6 school scheduled to open in August 2027. We anticipate that the new principal will begin working full-time in March 2027 with opportunities for flexible, part-time involvement as early as November or December 2026. We recognize the importance of honoring existing contractual commitments for the 2026/27 school year and are committed to providing flexibility in scheduling to support a smooth transition.
Patterson Unified School District is a public TK - 12 district located in the heart of California's Cenral Valley serving approximately 6164 students. Almond Blossom will be the district's sixth elementary school, joining a comprehensive educational system that includes one junior high school, one comprehensive high school, one alternative education high school, and a transition program serving adults with extensive support needs.
Our elementary schools are supported by shared counseling services and mental health resources to promote student well-being and success. Almond Blossom is planned to include one transitional kindergarten classroom and two classrooms at each grade level from kindergarten through sixth grade.
