Job Description
Position OverviewUnder limited supervision, this position performs complex prime contract management, regulatory oversight, and strategic contract administration functions within the Prime Contracts job family. The primary purpose of this role is to lead complex prime contract actions, manage high-value contract modifications, resolve contractual disputes, and ensure full alignment between project execution and contract terms. Core responsibilities include leading proposal preparation support, negotiating contract changes, assessing enterprise risk, and advising project leadership on contractual matters.
Functional:- Leads the comprehensive administration of major prime contracts, master service agreements, and complex task order packages.
- Analyzes complex contract solicitations, modifications, and change orders to identify contractual risks, financial exposures, and operational impacts.
- Develops and presents contract modification requests, equitable adjustment claims, and formal contractual correspondence to customer representatives.
- Oversees prime contract compliance with FAR, DEAR, cost accounting standards (CAS), and DOE-specific directives across active site operations.
- Partner with project leadership, accounting, and legal to establish cost ceilings, billing structures, and financial management controls.
- Guides procurement and subcontract management personnel on complex mandatory clause flow-downs and regulatory compliance mandates.
- Leads client contract negotiations, establishing favorable terms, scope clarity, and mutually agreeable performance deliverables.
- Mentors and provides technical guidance to junior Prime Contracts Specialists on complex contract administration practices and procedures.
- Prepares comprehensive contract status reports, variance analyses, and risk mitigation plans for executive management review.
- Serves as a key liaison to customer contracting officers, external auditors, government representatives, and legal counsel.
- Drives site safety culture, administrative compliance, and continuous process improvements within the Prime Contracts group.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Contract Management, Finance, or a closely related discipline or an equivalent combination of education
- 7+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) credential
