How you make a differenceThe Pricing Director leads pricing strategy, financial modeling, governance, and profitability management for the Corrections business. This role oversees pricing for new business, renewals, amendments, rebids, and strategic growth opportunities. The position serves as the subject matter expert for contract economics, risk assessment, and margin optimization while partnering with leaders across the organization to develop competitive and financially sound proposals. The Pricing Director also establishes pricing standards, oversees pricing operations and staff, and serves as the final financial authority on proposal economics before executive approval.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute pricing strategies for new business, renewals, rebids, amendments, expansions, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop, maintain, and approve pricing models, financial pro formas, costing methodologies, assumptions, governance standards, and profitability targets.
- Evaluate financial and operational risks and recommend contract structures, pricing protections, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor pricing performance, conduct profitability and variance analyses, and present recommendations and business insights to executive leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and lead pricing team members to ensure quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation
- Accounting degree required
Experience
- 10+ years overall Pricing experience
- 3 years of costing experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in a hospital system setting; experience in a correctional healthcare environment highly desirable.
