Instill discipline in our processes to ensure price files are accurate and price changes are approved per company guidelines
Review pricing disputes and take corrective actions to prevent future issues
Collaborate with business leaders to:
Modernize pricing systems and processes to maximize profitability
Automate routine price administration tasks and report generation
Collaborate with business leaders on the design of BI solutions aimed at providing self-serve analytics tools
Conduct ad-hoc profitability analysis of customers and products to identify revenue generating opportunities
Provide sales and profitability reports to management as needed
Work with all business functions and our customer base on issues/topics related to pricing and rebates
Support special projects as needed
Qualifications:
A. / B.S. with a concentration in mathematics, statistics, finance or economics and preferably will have an MBA.
Significant experience, leadership and insight expected in one or more of the following:
Pricing, statistics, mathematics, marketing, product management, corporate finance or strategy
Proficiency with advanced Excel functions
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (preferably QlikView)
Given the complexity of Formica's product and pricing mechanisms, the ability to manage complex data sets is critical.
