Project Overview:

The selected candidate will initially be placed on one of our four Liquefied Natural Gas Plant Projects in the US Gulf Coast Region for our Energy Global Business Unit, but we may also require the selected candidate to have future mobility to one of our other Global Business Units in a different location. The ideal candidate will have market sector/ sub sector construction industry experience in energy (liquefied natural gas), manufacturing and technology (semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, data centers, fire power generation), infrastructure (aviation, rail, roads/bridges), mining and minerals (water treatment plant, mineral extraction, metal refining), & nuclear, security, and environmental (nuclear power epc, power distribution, combined cycle, defense and space, environmental cleanup). As needs arise in our growing business, there will be expectation for the candidate to be fully mobile.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide project field engineering support with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and coordination of system turnover. Your work will contribute to ensuring field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements. #LI-BH1

Major Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor preservation and preventive maintenance requirements for equipment, materials, and systems during storage, construction, and pre-commissioning activities.
• Maintain preservation and preventive maintenance records, databases, and documentation to ensure accurate tracking and compliance with project requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, vendor manuals, and preservation procedures to support field implementation and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate preservation activities with construction, quality, procurement, startup, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure equipment integrity is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct field inspections to verify preservation activities are performed in accordance with project procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and quality requirements.
• Assist with material receiving, storage inspections, and condition assessments to ensure materials and equipment are protected from damage or deterioration.
• Prepare status reports, preservation logs, punch list updates, and turnover documentation for assigned areas.
• Support the planning and scheduling of preservation work and identify potential risks that could impact equipment readiness and turnover milestones.
• Interface with field engineering, construction supervision, quality personnel, and client representatives to support successful execution of preservation requirements.
• Promote compliance with project Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) requirements and support the Zero Accident Philosophy in all preservation activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of equipment preservation, preventive maintenance, material handling, storage, and protection requirements for construction and industrial projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, vendor manuals, preservation procedures, and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of construction practices, field engineering processes, and turnover requirements related to equipment and systems.
• Experience maintaining preservation records, databases, reports, and documentation to support project execution and equipment readiness.
• Ability to perform field inspections and verify compliance with project specifications, preservation requirements, and quality standards.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project schedules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and construction or maintenance management systems used for tracking preservation and turnover activities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with construction, engineering, quality, procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Ability to identify, investigate, and help resolve technical issues affecting equipment preservation, storage conditions, and system readiness.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) requirements and commitment to safe work practices and Zero Accident Philosophy principles.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records, reports, and inspection documentation.
