Full Job Description
RSM US LLP is looking for a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineer (PSE) Director that will have a primary focus on facilitating the growth of our consulting practice. The Data Analytics/AI Pre-Sales Engineer (PSE) Director supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the 9technical close in complex Data Analytics/AI related solutions.  Data Analytics/AI services include a variety of solutions including but not limited to Microsoft Fabric, Co-Pilot, Snowflake, Databricks, to name a few.  The PSE Director collaborates with sales and delivery resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.  The PSE Director is responsible for achieving a productivity quota made up of the combined expectations of the sales resources, market, industry, and/or channel supported.  The sales territory will encompass pursuits across the nation, and flexible work or partial work from home is acceptable, if preferred. Responsibilities:  3 Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity, or as directed by Practice Leaders or Sales Director  3 Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm  3 Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support  3 Coordinates closely with internal sales and delivery resources to align solution design with customers business requirements  3 Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deals 9technical close.   3 Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported  3 Provides coaching and professional development to team member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills  3 Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within clients. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced  3 Maintain strong relationships with channel team, partner technology specialists, and partner sales executives  3 Keep up with product announcements and sales incentives and programs.
