Senior EstimatorPosition SummaryLead detailed estimating for major commercial and institutional projects, ensuring cost accuracy, transparency, and alignment with design and client goals.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analyses for all scopes.
- Review project documentation and details in order to prepare constructability reviews, PRFI's, detailed estimates, clarifications and scopes of work.
- Lead communication with subcontractors for solicitation, scope reviews, and leveling processes.
- Develop cost histories and maintain pricing databases for benchmarking.
- Support VE efforts, alternate pricing, and design-phase budgeting.
- Collaborate with Preconstruction Managers to finalize GMPs.
Qualifications & Requirements- 7-10 years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
- Proficient in CSI divisions and trade-specific cost evaluation.
- Proficient in takeoff and estimating software systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with negotiated CM and design-assist projects.
Education / CertificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
