Role SummaryThe Precision Medicine Liaison (PML) plays an important role in helping laboratories strengthen access to precision medicine testing and, ultimately, supporting patients in accessing the right treatment. Working with clinical chemistry laboratories and reference centres across the USA, you will bring scientific expertise and practical insight into the lab environment, helping to identify and address barriers affecting test adoption, availability and laboratory workflows.
You will combine field intelligence with Diaceutics data and expertise to provide clear, actionable recommendations that support testing pathways and strengthen awareness of companion diagnostics. Through scientific exchange and ongoing engagement, you will build trusted relationships with pathologists, laboratory managers and other key stakeholders, supporting laboratories as they develop the testing capabilities and infrastructure needed to improve patient and HCP access to testing.
This is a fixed-term role supporting the launch of a therapy on behalf of a pharmaceutical partner. You will work with clinical chemistry laboratories and reference centres across the USA to help ensure sufficient testing infrastructure is in place to support the launch.
The role is primarily virtual, with face-to-face laboratory visits as required, attendance at relevant conferences and occasional visits to Diaceutics' New Jersey office.
What you'll be doingDuties and responsibilities will include:
Program delivery and scientific engagement:- Understand detailed scientific materials and translate key requirements and recommendations into clear, relevant information for laboratory stakeholders.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with Diaceutics Leadership, client matrix teams and relevant support teams.
Stakeholder identification and relationship management- Proactively identify and engage relevant healthcare professionals, building effective working relationships and finding practical ways to overcome barriers to engagement.
- Engage with diagnostic testing laboratories, providing pre-approved scientific awareness materials to pathologists and other key laboratory staff to support the implementation of new and developing diagnostic testing and patient-specific therapy options.
Insight gathering and testing landscape- Conduct structured discussions with laboratory stakeholders and pathologists using pre-defined criteria and strategic recommendations, capturing insights on the testing landscape, laboratory capabilities, barriers to testing, workflows and operational processes.
Reporting and CRM management- Prepare regular performance reports and progress metrics, while maintaining Diaceutics and client CRM systems to accurately track programme activity and progress.
Compliance and Governance- Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, Diaceutics policies and Code of Conduct, privacy and data guidelines, and relevant state, federal and PDMA requirements.
Travel and additional responsibilities- Travel to laboratory sites across the US as required and represent Diaceutics and its Pharma partners at relevant regional and national meetings or conferences.
- Undertake special projects, assignments, and other duties as directed by the People Leader.
