Overview

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Renewable Energy practice in Houston, Texas (TX)!

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and analysis of complex electrical systems for renewable generation, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, building electrical, and battery storage projects
  • Responsible for the review and development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagrams
  • Daily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams, with interaction across Kimley-Horn offices
  • Prepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals, supporting the growth of electrical engineering service areas in the localmarket and across the country
  • Leadership responsibilities include:
    • Operating with integrity and sound business principles
    • Providing vision, business planning and strategy
    • Establishing goals
    • Building and maintaining positive client relationships
    • Having open communication with your partners and team
    • Growing and leading a Renewable Energy practice
  • Our Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor
