Full Job Description
Here's the Gist:
We're looking for a semiconductor product engineer to support the yield and performance of power products at Wolfspeed. You will work on complex problems and drive solutions in response to product deviations. You will also track and maintain yield performance to enable predictable starts planning and fab stability.
The Day-to-Day
• Monitor key device performance attributes to ensure device health.
• Strong data analysis skills to drive root cause for parametric shifts or issues.
• Drive problem solving across multiple teams (i.e. process, flows, product).
• Respond to deviations in our product lines and customer concerns and drive to root cause.
• Develop solutions to problems utilizing structured problem-solving tools.
• Support planning to predict yield outcome and product starts.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 year's experience with a BS or 1 year's experience with a Masters.
• Understanding of semiconductor processes and device physics.
• Experience in design of experiments, statistical analysis, and process control, including a passion for data analysis.
This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual's job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.
Compensation Range:
$81,000.00 - $111,000.00
