Power Platform Developer IISnapshot:The Power Platform Developer II serves as an intermediate-level application development professional responsible for building, maintaining, supporting, and enhancing Microsoft Power Platform solutions that support business operations across the enterprise. This role develops and maintains Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, Power Automate flows, Power Pages sites, and Azure Logic Apps workflows within established architecture, governance, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) standards. The ideal candidate will execute development initiatives, support enterprise integrations, troubleshoot complex application issues, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Company's Power Platform ecosystem while ensuring solutions remain scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.
A Day in the Life:- Build, configure, and maintain Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps that support business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Develop new Power Platform solutions and enhance existing applications while adhering to governance standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues, defects, and support requests.
- Perform testing activities to validate functionality and ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment records, and solution specifications.
- Develop and maintain Power Automate cloud flows to automate business processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Build and support Azure Logic Apps workflows utilized for enterprise integrations and automation initiatives.
- Configure and maintain integrations with external systems through APIs, connectors, and integration services.
- Develop and support custom connectors utilizing Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
- Contribute to the development, enhancement, and support of Power Pages solutions.
- Participate in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes using Azure DevOps for source control, deployments, and work item tracking.
- Assist with release planning, testing coordination, deployment validation, and environment management.
- Partner with business stakeholders, project teams, and IT personnel to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior developers as appropriate.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to development standards, governance, and platform capabilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills: - 2-5 years of Power Platform application development experience.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900).
- Working proficiency developing Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps.
- Experience developing and supporting Power Automate cloud flows.
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining Azure Logic Apps workflows.
- Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, and application integrations.
- Experience working within an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) environment.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, work item tracking, and deployments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and initiative.
- Progress toward a Microsoft Power Platform Associate-level certification preferred.
- Experience developing and supporting Power Pages solutions preferred.
- Experience creating and maintaining custom connectors using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Power Platform environments preferred.
- Experience mentoring or assisting junior developers preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based integrations preferred.
- Experience working in a structured software development lifecycle environment preferred.
