Power Platform Developer/Engineer

We are seeking an in‑person, senior‑level Power Platform Developer/Engineer based in Northern Virginia office. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering end‑to‑end solution architecture and development using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and applied AI capabilities.

This role will provide technical leadership, architectural design expertise, and hands‑on development across our enterprise modernization and data initiatives. Beyond solution delivery, a key focus will be shaping the technical strategy for our Power Platform ecosystem—ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient architectures that support mission‑critical operations.

• Application Development: Independently design, architect,andfullybuild custom solutionsusing theMicrosoft Power Platformsuite of tools, includingPowerFX,Canvasapps with SharePoint lists. Ensure applications are intuitive, scalable, maintainable, and meet stakeholder needs. Integrate securely with enterprise data sources. Utilize CSS and HTML to improve layout, content presentation and enhance user interfaces.  
   

• Workflows and Automation:Design, test, andmaintainsophisticated Power Automate workflows for stand-alone solutions or in conjunction with Power App solutions to automate business critical processes. Familiarity with standard vs premium connectors, loops and complex workflow logic, and  failure/error handling. 

• Data Visualization: Develop andmaintaindynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data-driven insights. Utilize advanced report design, DAX, and Power Query to create meaningful visualizations.

• AI Integration: Integrateor developAI capabilities such as AI Hub, CoPilot Studio, AI Models, or AI Agentsinto business processes for automation and efficiency. Leverage AI models and tools to enhanceworkflows andsolution capabilities, collaborating with CACI’s AI product team.

• Solution Architecture: Work closely with stakeholders and teammates toown the solution development process. This includeselicit and document requirements, design data architecture and flows, develop, test, and deliver individual solutions, keeping the larger enterprise architecture in mind. This includes creating SharePoint sites, lists, and permissions as part of the solution. Ensure full solutions are user-friendly and align with business goals.

• EnterpriseTechnicalArchitecture:Work with the development teams tosupportend-to-end enterprise architecture for Power Platform solutions, including application design patterns, data architecture, security models, API strategy, and enterprise integration approaches.

• Process Analysis: Analyze business processes,utilizegenerative AI, and develop tools, reports, or other solutions to meet the business needs. Translate complex business requirements into solutions.Serve as technical advisor to stakeholders; translate high‑complexitybusiness needs into multi‑componentarchitectures and implementation roadmaps

• Governance,Standards& Best Practices: Adhere to team standards and governance principles, including styles, documentation, and configuration management.Provide enhancement ideas to the team’sPower Platform governance models, including environment strategy, ALM/DevOps pipelines, baselines, andother team operations.Ensure all development is well-documented and follows best practices. Partner with and mentor other developers on architecture, coding practices, automation logic, and solution design.

• Operational Support: Provide operational support for deployed solutions, addressing any issues or enhancements required post-deployment.Analyze complex issues, performing root cause analysis and recommend remediation for long-term platform and solution health.

• Training and Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation. Support training efforts to facilitate user adoption across teams and to ensure users are well-versed in utilizing new solutions.

• Continuous Learning: Stay current on Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, AI tools, and industry best practices. Be willing to learnnew technologiesand incorporate them into solutions as needed.
   

Qualifications:

Required: 

• ProCodeexperience 

• ExperienceusingCodeApps

• Experience withcustom API Connections utilizing REST APIs

• Demonstrated experience modernizing legacy processes or systems into scalableenterprise solutions

• Experience integrating orleveragingAI tools such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock or other cloud-based AI services

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform governance and Center of Excellence practices

• Microsoft certification(s) in Power Platform (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-300,PL-400,PL-900)

• Familiarity or experience withDataverse, SQL, AWS

• Familiarity withPowerPages

• Experience working inFederal or GovernmentContracting industryor regulated environments
