Job Summary
The Power Platform Developer will design, develop, configure, implement, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse. The role involves developing Canvas and model-driven applications, automating business processes, configuring websites, facilitating requirements workshops, and translating business challenges into functional technical solutions. The developer will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, troubleshoot platform issues, document solutions, enforce development standards, and participate in the Agile software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure, customize, develop, deploy, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including Field Service and Customer Service modules.
• Develop and configure Canvas and model-driven applications using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Develop and configure Power Pages for internal and external websites.
• Configure and implement business process automation solutions.
• Lead functionality discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Analyze business needs and challenges, map functional solutions to identified use cases, and develop applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot Dynamics 365 and Power Platform issues, document resolutions, and collaborate with system administrators and IT teams to implement fixes.
• Design and document solutions for common use cases.
• Support Power Platform DevOps practices, including Power Pipelines and ALM Accelerator.
• Develop and maintain documentation covering requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, and platform usage.
• Prepare mockups and prototypes and recommend solutions using Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities.
• Define and refine platform governance approaches and ensure solutions follow established best practices.
• Design, implement, and migrate solutions using Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Support integrations with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 services, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to support administration, automation, and solution delivery.
• Participate in the Agile software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
• Seven or more years of IT experience as an application developer.
• Three or more years of experience designing, implementing, and migrating solutions using Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Five or more years of experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services.
• Three or more years of experience using standard and premium connectors with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Four or more years of experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Three or more years of experience developing Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions to support Power Automate solutions.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform customization, configuration, development, and deployment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to participate effectively in technical and business requirements discussions.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, document solutions, and collaborate with business and IT teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Two or more years of experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including Field Service and Customer Service modules.
• Two or more years of experience with DevOps in Microsoft Power Platform environments.
• Microsoft Power Apps Professional or Power Apps Developer certification.
